Sharnabasveshwar Samsthan

Sharnabasveshwar vidya Vardhak Sangha

Lord Sharanabasaveshwar, the great saint and sage, who lived around 200 years ago performing many miracles for the good of the people. He saw God in human soul and in all creatures of the Almighty. The saint lived a way of life called Dasoha. Dasoha stands for an assemblage of the finest constituents of human behavior and virtues like love, compassion, humility, understanding, concern for others, self -abnegation and above all deep sense of service.

The essence of Dasoha Philosophy is service to people, which is regarded as service to God. The concept of Dasoha helps to cure the ills of the society and also enables the human spirit to reach greater heights. He led the Dasoha way of life in all aspects in healing the moral and spiritual wounds of the toiling and moiling masses, in feeding the poor, in wiping the tears of orphans, in soothing and guiding the sinner, serving the sick and curing the diseased by his extraordinary spiritual powers. He transcended all artificial barriers of caste, creed and religion that divides humanity into small fragments and discordant groups and showed to the world the essential goodness and basic oneness. He preached and practiced a life of peace amity and communal harmony. He believed that, he who helps others alone gets his all desires fulfilled. His life and mission was a beacon light to his times and are also the guiding principles of humanity.
